How is this calculated?
Car monthly cost = ((distance × 2 × days) ÷ 100 × fuel consumption × fuel price) + (parking × days) + fixed costs
Public transport monthly cost = monthly pass (if > 0), otherwise ticket price × trips per day × working days
Savings = the higher cost minus the lower cost. Annual figures multiply monthly by 12. Fixed car costs (insurance, maintenance) are included as a flat monthly amount you provide.
